About

After graduating with a medical degree from Melbourne University in 1995, I chose Sleep and Respiratory Medicine as my specialty, obtaining my Fellowship in 2003. I practice at the Epworth Hospital in Richmond, and work for the Victorian Respiratory Support Service—a statewide specialist program—based at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne.

I specialise in the full range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnoea and respiratory failure. I’m interested in the diagnosis and management of disorders of excessive daytime sleepiness—including narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia—as well as parasomnias, insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders and sleep-related movement disorders.

I’m passionate about medical education. I hold a Masters degree in Medical Education and have been an active member on several committees for the Australasian Sleep Association and the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, where I’ve been a fellow since 2003.
